My gf is looking for a MP3 player (around $100).
Which brand is the best? Where should we buy it? ….etc
We know nothing about MP3 players, so any recommendations would be helpful!

IMHO, Rio and MPIO are some good brands that are relatively in-expensive.

 

...And shop at Best Buy. We rock.

<shrug> That's ok. It really all depends on how many songs she wants to put on at one time. A 128mb will only hold somewhere around 20-40 depending on the format.

I think 256MB will be good enough for her though

I got a 256MB AVB MP3 player for $35 @ Fry's. No LCD, but works pretty well off a single AAA battery.
