Help I Need a Turbo to Downpipe Gasket

I need to find a downpipe to turbo gasket so that I don't have to go to the STEALERSHIP and pick one up. I can either pay you for it or replace the first part of next week. By the way is is for my 2004 STi but I think they are all the same. East Bay prefered, but at this point beggars can't be choosers.

This post is useless. Go to the dealership or order one online why are you even asking for something that shouldn't be reused?

exactly

calling a dealership a STEALERSHIP is just stupid. it's just a cheap subaru part, not buying a whole car. what are they, like $19 ?

if you are buying one from a member, they have to drive to you, or you drive to them, which costs GAS MONEY. so what is really lost here? a few bucks?

I remember when I-club was there to help other Subaru enthusiasts not slam their questions or requests as useless.

Oshrizak and Rescuer thanks for all the help. It was late last night and I found out I needed to switch my exhaust out today. So I didn't know how far the nearest dealer that would have one in stock for me to pick up today, and I didn't have time to order one. And imagine to my surprise there was someone out there with a BRAND NEW ONE that they were willing to sell me today before noon. No waiting on the dealership to order one. So before you call someones post useless, think about it. It might be you some day needing the help.

As a matter of fact Rescuer I think I bailed you out a few years ago with a tool or part you needed. Or you bailed me out with something I needed. That is how I remember I-club working.

Oshrizak I have about ten years on I-club, before you joined. This should be about people helping each other out. But I see you are sporting a new STI so you probably know everything already and will never need any help from other members. Good luck.

From what you were even posting it sounded like you didn't even want to drive to the dealership to get one or look. I've had help from I club and I greatly appreciate it. However, when someone says I need a gasket and don't feel like spending gas money you make t sound you want a part that is either used or you're just too lazy to look around dealerships for it. No disrespect and I'm glad you got everything sorted however you shouldn't be hammering down on someone who has oh 10 years less of street cred.

Oh wait I don't know anything because you have 10 years on me

no, what you basically did in your first post was say you wanted to buy one from a member instead of going to the STEALERSHIP
so that I don't have to go to the STEALERSHIP and pick one up.
that was the main point in your original post, avoiding the STEALERSHIP (i put it in big letters since that is what you did in your OP)

I have no problem helping people out, but re-read my post above again since i'm clearly talking about the lack of respect for DEALERSHIPS parts departments, as if all the DEALERSHIPS are ripping you off...... plus as i mentioned its a cheap part, not a CAR.

there are people who work for parts departments that help people out around here. so there is no need to be calling a subaru place a STEALERSHIP

thanks

I'll never understand paying for a used gasket that may leak instead of a brand new one for a few bucks more or even for full price over free. But I just joined I club a few months ago so I know nothing also I guess lol

I-Club is usually a last resort, not first choice, but it can be. Up to the buyer.

However, my opinion, just call the dealer to find out first. You call one, see if they have it. If they don't they can check pretty much all others for you on their computer.

Really would be a 5min phone call. Or call any Subaru shop. GST, RBMS, AHQ, LIC etc.

Either way, I'm glad you got one via your preferred method.
