Help! Has anyone ever tried..

.. swapping 2008 STi seats into a 2001 2.5RS? The bf picked up some Status seats and finally got them installed today, so I'm taking his slightly more supportive STi seats to replace the leather ones in my RS (which may as well be made of oil or something... its so slippery!)

I know the seats' rails are different - I'm wondering if its possible to unbolt the rails off of the RS and the STi and just swap seats like that?

I've been scrounging Google search the past hour and have come up with nothing I'd really like to get those seats in before the Alameda photoshoot tomorrow Any help would be appreciated!!
