i personally like garmins as well. the newer ones also has blue tooth which is a plus.

 

Find something with a SiRF III chipset.

my buddy has one for driving limos and he was pissed that it didnt know how to get to black oak casino... he ended up lost in a huge aS limo

turns out the road to get to the casino doesnt even exist on the tom tom maps

and it is a brand spanking new one

 

The garmins have more options and i think are quicker to pick up a GPS satellite signal.
