oops. that is for the Pro-Gard Fuel Addatives.

i think the techron professional 3-step fuel system cleaner is different.

Techron doesn't really work well with our cars, because of the numerous catalytic converters. However, if you're running catless, then pour it into an empty tank. All in all, just use Chevron regularly, and you'll get all the benefits of Techron without having to buy it separately.

Just use some 100 octane here and there to clean out the system. And try not to run an empty tank a lot, as the dirt from the tank clogs up the fuel filter after awhile.

I always wondered if that was true, considering the fuel pump has to be somewhere near the bottom of the tank to get the fuel when it's near empty right? And if all the sediment sinks to the bottom, isn't that where it pumps from? Also, if that's not that case, what about when we drive? It sloshes the tank quite a bit, making the sediment move around, so it would pump it then anyway right?

As for the TECHRON stuff, I usually just get the gas light on (which is till something like 3.4 gallons), put it in, put the gas in AFTER (so that way it mixes it instead of just having it sit on top) and then when I drive out of the gas station, juke the car left and right, to make sure it's mixed. After that, drive off and let it work.

the fuel filter should be able to filter out all the sediment. change it every 15k and you should be alright.
