im not here to argue, i actually see where your coming from, they tried to do it the legal way, it was too late... why they took so damn long, i have no clue... just tossing this out there for those who'd like to help, lets try to look at the fact that they want to live here as law abiding, tax paying citizens... they're practically already established here as an american family... or atleast let the kids stay... they didnt have much say in their fate here

Signed!! I'm all for immigrants who are in the US for a reason and recycle the country's resources to give into society buy providing for THEMSELVES a positive future instead of taking welfare checks and thinking this country will provide a free ride.

Filipino or not, I would NOT have signed this petition if these people weren't providing for themselves. If they were Mexican, Iranian, German, Chinese, etc..I would have signed if they were in the same situation.

 

I don't agree with that. Sure there are people who abuse the idea of welfare, but there are thousands of other programs in this country that people abuse as well. What about single parents with 2+ children who can't get a good enough job to support her family. There are two many unfortunate circumstances in which people need welfare and don't just use it due to laziness... It is a shame that people abuse the program though, it makes it harder for those in need to get the help they deserve.
