help a bro find a used sti....
hey there peeps
well, it looks like i am finally going to be able to afford an STi. if anyone knows anyone locally that is selling one, i might be interested. the cheaper the better (duh). i have around $27k to spend, but would really like to stay in between 25-26k.
i am looking at one in fair oaks this week some time hopefullu. blue/silver with the wing removed (something i will do regardless).
i like all colors BUT black.
thanks for ANY help, and se y'all soon at a uckk....
josh
ps i am willing to travel or ship if the car and price is right.....
pss and just to add a REALLY funky twist, i am also looking at EVO's, so if anyone knows anyone witha trick EVO for sale, don't hesitate to let me know...

i just saw that. i am going to check it out this weekend. i also checked craigslist (another duh on my part) and emailed 4 different people. one in stockton that is black (boooo) but he is trying to sell it quickly for 25.5k and is willing to negotiate. i can fudge the color for a good price. it only has 10k miles on it...
keep em coming if you see anything...

yea, and Zoeb has some nice rear seats too!
THere's a silver sti on craigslist for $26, prob talk him down to $25K and you're done.
GOod luck and enjoy the car...other than the front seats, I think the car is fantastic and offers a whole lot of value.
Please track your car though....this thing really comes alive on the track.

I own an '04 STi and I wish I could have waited for an '05, I can't afford to add the little things that supposedly make the '05 handle better...
If there's any way you can swing it Josh, do it!
oh and Zoeb knows that if you price the 6MT, Brembos, R180 rear diff, engine, etc. etc. etc. you save money getting an STi

hey
yeah if i could get an 05 i would. i plan on big changes to the suspension (new spec c adjustable, etc) so the 04 is ok for me.
if i could i would get the 05, but just too pricey...

It really doesn't matter for either of you though since the only extended hard braking both of your cars see is through the dairy queen drivethru.
