As much as you value your car, many people do not value their cars as much. After a while you get used to the dings n' dents and just think of it as your own signature (because not all subaru's will have your special dings!) In addition, Subaru paint blows *****, get used to pain chipping especially off the front end.

What a pain. If it makes you feel any better, I have never hit anyone/ any car, and yet my front bumper is completely ruined. I guess thats the price you pay for living in San Francisco. I have decided not to fix it until all the paint is completely gone. Good luck, sorry about the bad news.

thanks everyone. it really does suck. well i uploaded some pics so you guys can see the damage.

anyone have any suggestions on what i should do about the dent for now?

i used to baby my car the first year or so when i had it. now.. i just don't give a ish. seems the more you let others know you value your car, the higher the chance of vandalism. that's my 2 cents atleast.
