Helix Catback rubbing driveshaft

I have my car at a shop for other work, and had the Helix catback laying around. Said what the heck, I'll have them install it while they are at it. They have it installed but say that it is rubbing the driveshaft and that they need to bring it to a muffler specific shop to have them do something about it.

I have searched, but found nothing.

Has this happened to anyone else? Are they just trying to buy more time to ave my car there (dont know why they would)? Did they install it wrong?

Thanks

Considering there's only 1 way to install a catback, I doubt they installed it wrong. Was your catback new or used (damaged in any way)?

I know theres only one way to bolt everything up, but do you thing that they didn't hang it correctly? I doubt this because they work on many subarus, but I dont get what would be wrong.

It was brand new, from Gruppe-s, and was in perfect shape when I brought it to them.

Dang, I would just contact gruppe-s and see if they will recall it for you, or who ever you bought it from. To have a muffler shop do it for you will definitely not allow you to claim that it is a defect. Not only that, the muffler shop could possibly screw it up. This is my 2 cents.
