agreed. if anyone read the articles he did an interview back in November that stated he had been having trouble sleeping due to the roll of the Joker and had been taking sleeping pills on the order of 2 a night just to get an hours sleep....

I doubt it was suicide. Either drug interaction or just got so damn tired he took more than he thought he did (as in took two, forgot, then took more) or something along those lines. Long term exhaustion can cause you to do effed up crap. I've pulled quite a few 72 hour work days....with 6 or less hours of sleep, only to go right back at it. I can see how he might have simply screwed up.

I hope his ex and daughter will be able to cope as best they can with his loss, as a father I feel for any family that looses a parent unexpectedly.

And as for the gay jokes...grow up. Took ***** for the man to take a roll like that. Whether you like the movie, the content or his acting at least give him credit and some respect.

and to add my .02...Many actors do deal with this issue when taking on rolls...nicolas cage is another example of becoming depressed after taking on certain roles, most notably Leaving Las Vegas. I can account for this as well, as taking on a roll even in theater meant trying to live like the character.

sucks that it happened, just the other night i caught 10 Things I hate about you on the tube...what bugs me the most is the swarm of media in front of his apartment. can't a guy just be carted into an ambulance without thousands of people taking pictures?
