headlights/console day

so today me and myperrinwrx(daniel) blacked out my headlights and console(console actually was plasti dip )

took around 3-4 hours


took em out!


plasti dip!(about 4-5 coats)


cat


playing some counter strike source to kill some time!


took out of oven, separated


spray paint(about 4-5 coats)


some more silicone befor putting back together and in oven


magic!


cat again

after



didn't bother with befor pics you guys prob know what stock looks...

I did the plasti dip a few weeks ago, and wrote up a lot helpful tips with pics to help with the process

I also did the HVAC ***** though

Good work. I did mine the first month I had my car. Looks very mean on my CGM.

Did you give the paint enough time to cure? I heard depending on the type of paint you use, you should let it cure for at least a day or the fumes will mess up the clear plastic on the headlights.

i like that Rescuer, looks good! I'm going to get the jdm hazard light button and plasti dip the console buttons to look cool like urs

Just follow my little guide, it was super easy to get those ***** off, and the little orange light up thingy

what spray did you use on the lights? black krylon?

I'm still going back and forth on doing it. It looks great, but the chrome inside does too on our color car
i mainly want to remove the amber side marker thing in the lights

I think most go with high temp stuff. I'm currently trying to source a small can of high temp red for those 'accents' i spoke of.
