Headlight swap question

I have auto adjusting low beams on my 2013 limited, and I have been thinking about swapping for 2011/12 headlights since they have black housings. Would I be able to just swap the adjustment motor to the other headlights?

I think it would be easier/cheaper to just paint your stock housings.

A guy here in Sac does them really well: https://www.i-club.com/forums/sacram...lights-230241/

Im sure there would be some in the bay as well but dont know off the top of my head.

Its easier to just bake them for 10 minutes at about 220 degrees.. remove the housing and plastidip or paint them. Takes some time.. but looks good. I am thinking of doing them on my car too. Just make sure to read instructions or to send it to someone who knows what they are doing

Thank you for the advice, I know it's easier and cheaper to bake and paint them, I've done it a bunch of times on my previous cars and friends cars. But I do not mind paying for an extra set that I can mess around with.
