Hayward to Sacramento morning traffic

I need to be in downtown Sacramento (3rd and J) by 7:30am the rest of the week. I don't know exactly what traffic is like, but I was thinking 680 would be better off. Is leaving at 5:30 giving me enough time, I can't really afford to be late. TIA guys.

Not sure about going to Sacramento, but ive had to drive from Sacramento to San Ramon for meeting and I would leave by 6 and get there around 730...

It should take you no more than an hour from Fairfield to DT Sac. So not sure how long it would take from Hayward to Fairfield. I don't think traffic is to bad in the early morning going to Sac.

not sure if that helps or not...

680 seems like the better choice, and I would plan to leave at 5am rather than 530. That gives you 2 and a half hours on a drive that looks to be 1hour 50 minutes WITHOUT traffic. Plus you have to factor in time for parking, accidents, traffic etc.

Take the 880 to the 580 to the 205 to the 5.

Oh and leaving anytime after 5 will be fun! You should be leaving by 3 or sooner.

The 680 is always faster. 5:30 should get you there on time, but I would leave another 10 minutes or so because downtown will be a cluster**** around 7, you will need to find parking and make yourself not look too disheveled like you've been in a car for 2 hours.

You're going to hit traffic right after Vacaville where 80 cuts down to 2 lanes then again after Davis when it goes down to 3 lanes, (it opens up around 113 to 5 for a bit) it will be slow from Davis till you get past the Causeway.

The google maps recommended travel time will be about right on if you're speeding, but you need to be careful because they patrol that part of 80 like hawks.

680 to 80, radar detector, and a rockstar and you should be alright, lol. leave early so if you just so happen to get there early, you have time to relax before work rather than running thru the door with your head a mess and panicking like a mother****er.

If he goes through vacaville.

If you take route I mentioned you'll hit all reverse traffic until you get to elk grove.

This is what I normally take to get up to Sac. google maps estimates it would take a little longer but usually not as much traffic going up this way.

Sorry I'm late on this one. /\ This will be the quickest way. Coming into Sac from 80 is a mess. Up five you will have no traffic until Pocket Rd.

Leave at 5.
