Federal bumper impact laws would need well ....... tossed out. That is also going to be a problem with most future designs I am sure. I wonder at what point we can get over the stupid bumper crap for some soft airbags. Or we can just all man up and wear our seat belts.

I'd take some of these future cars and seat belts, no air bags and fed bumper standards anyday. With todays and future improve cabin safety and crumple zones, Bumper laws are out dated anyways.
Its not like my car has any of that anyways. No bumper beams and air bags.
