Angry Have you guys ever had the USPS lose something?

It seems as though they lost my RENT CHECK!

I got a call from my land lord today telling me that he hasn't recieved the rent... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot...over? I mailed it 10 days ago and he lives in El Cerrito!

Now I have to plop down mad stacks to place a stop payment, and I look like a freaking dirtbag in front of my land lord!

What a crock of isht! I have never, in all of my 25 years, had anything like this happen!

damn that sucks, especially the # one thing you say to a bill collector when they are asking you for money "I already put it out in the mail, you should be getting it any day now" and the guys probably thinks ur BS'n him....I hate the postal service, I try not to use them, I use fed-ex or ups, mostly fed ex, but unfortunatly u can't beat 37 cents to mail a letter across the country...

Yes, and that is how I feel right now. I actually did put the damn thing in the mail!

I am going to make an arrangement to hand deliver the thing. So as to avoid any confusion.

If it wasn't in El Cerrito, I would Fed Ex it. Too close to justify $20 in shipping a check!~

I had a priority mail package take 3 months to get to new york once. Since then all the stuff I sell goes out with that 40 cent confirmation number.

The guy didnt believe I sent it and the day he was going to file against me, it shows up on his doorstep.

If you think the USPS is bad, do not ever use UPS.

I packed up my turbo to be sent back to FP for a rebuild and what happens to it when it gets there? It gets completely mutilated. The outlet of the compressor housing when from this O to this D. In addition, two fins on the compressor side broke off and the shaft was bent. Basically the only thing that was salvagable with the turbo was the exhaust housing. And trust me I packed that turbo so it would be well protected, and I had it insured. But UPS claims they it was not insured and all I get back is a freakin $100 when I had a buyer for it too.

to UPS.

UPS lost my swaybar I ordered, and now ILP has my $99 for it and im disputing the charges. If UPS wouldnt have lost it at the Richmond facility, I would have gotten it and none of this crap with ILP would have happened cause it happened the week after it was lost and aparently ILP no longer is functioning

USPS is notorious for losing isht. Gov workers smoking anthrax on a daily basis. I've lost a shipment that was sent to me. That was the last I heard of it.

Also, I was sent a New Years card from my GF. Didn't get it till March. When I did receive it, it was all tore up and mangled like in the processing machine, so it wasnt even legible. They attached a sticky note to it: 'Sorry for the lateness of the mail. Got lost in processing'. They didn't even apologize for tearing it up beyond all recognition. Next thing you know, you'll pay 40cents to mail a letter that will never get there on time.

Also, they accused my dog of attacking the mailman, and next time it happens, I'll have to get a PO box. Sometimes, i wish she did bite that bastard.

Don't get a P.O. Box b/c then you are supporting the post office and you cannot recieve fedex/ups packages....get a box from a local mailbox place like Mailboxes Etc used to be....They are better b/c You can recieve both fedex and ups, as well as mail from the usps...

=p let me rephrase that one. They are going to force me to get a PO box if they see my dog again. hehe. In other words, they will not deliver and i'll have to go elsewhere to pick up my damn mail.

Not that USPS sucks that bad, but they over exaggerate b/c they do get attacked by dogs, cars, trees, kids, even mail. My only tiff is when they go too far as in seeing any size dog as being threatening and saying they were 'attacked'. Then they have a right to turn around and have me pick up my mail from their station, and then not be able to find it. That's what ticks me off.

Most vicious dogs react very well to a boot in the face! Freddie's damned pomegranite doge attacked me when I was leaving. I really couldn't discipline it in front of his mother and aunt. Damn little ankle biter actually bit my achillies tendon~!
