Unhappy Have to sell my Spitfire project...

Well after I built up a head of steam to get some work done on this thing I finally got the spitty and all my parts down to GSTs extra storage since I dont have anywhere to keep/work on this here in SF. Shortly afterwards it became apparent to me that its damn near impossible to make any progress on a project car when its halfway across the bay and not to mention, when my amount of free time is becoming increasingly scarce.

In the last two months Ive only been able to get one days work done on anything there. And now I just found out that GSTs extra storage unit, which I knew before was temporary, is getting leased out. I thought about renting a storage space for it, but the truth is unless the car lives where I live its never going to get worked on, and then Id just be throwing money away on storage.

So Ive had to finally face reality on this and decide to pass it on to someone else with more time/space on their hands to finish it.

You guys should all know it by now, https://www.i-club.com/forums/showth...light=spitfire

well I'd like to post it here first if any of you guys here or anyone you know want to finish it up, It still has the stock working 1.5 in it so you could actually get it running as-is if you dont want to do the full 4age swap. Anyways, hit me up before i put it on Craigslist, gotta be gone this month!

depends on how much you want, if he justs wants the car as it sits I was going to list it for 2K. motor in it ran when I bought it, but would need a weekends worth of work to get it going again Im sure. theres no interior in it right now, pulled the old stuff out and have all new upholstered panels, to go back in with new weather strips and seals, could use a carpet kit too those go for a couple hundred bucks. the old seats were crap so I chucked them, I still have the seat rails so you can adapt any seats you want, I was planning on running some fixed Sparco Evo style seats, I checked it the fit

well theres way too much to list. shoot me a PM if your buddy wants my number

Why don't you rent some sort of storage garage.. Isn't there a self storage place in south city? (usually for people who are moving, I did that when my Ferrari died and had to work on it when I was 24).

yeah that works best. When I was 23, both my Porsches died and I had to find a place to park them while I rebuilt both motors with parts from RUF.
