Meh, I'd hardly call Red Robin "gourmet." It seems like Red Robin cares more about the # of toppings than the quality of the actual beef patty. IMO, a burger should taste like beef. All other flavors should play second fiddle to beef. If a burger doesn't taste beefy, then it doesn't matter how much cheese, bacon, guacamole, jalapenos, pineapple, etc., it is still, to me, a crappy burger.

I make really good burgers, using sirloin steak, using my parents' food chopper, I use my own grown seasonings, and they are epic.
But that requires a lot of effort and MONEY, since there's just two of us... I even go to the local bakery to get a good bun for the said burger... I'd like to thank Alton Brown for his ingenious ways and my mother for her seasonings!
