I was addicted to their chili burger and french fries for quite a while. Had it on my last trip back in January and it was heaven. The french fries are SO good.

I actually am a pretty big fan of Lotteria's burgers/sausage patty things too.

Hands down favorite quick place to eat though is Coco-Ichi!\

Back to OP:

My co-workers use their Iphones there all the time. Don't have to change anything over either, just need to have it activated through your carrier. Again direct voice is expensive, but if you do the data to google voice thingy it should work great.

So yeah.... total bill for the trip. Estimates by the way since I'm lazy to convert. $120 for the cell phone and split 40-60 with Matt, but the total for the mobile wifi was $210 :0 Holy ****. There's way less payphones now too.

How does Google voice work in a country with no service on your phone? Are you relying completely on WIFI?

So google voice over wifi works except phone calls. I was able to receive texts via my US-G-Voice number. I had a mobile unlimited wifi so my galaxy was feeding off of that the whole time and I had a flip phone for calls and texts within Japan.

Interesting. So it would be just better to rent a phone locally wherever you are going.
