Exclamation Has anyone heard of Richard Mcpherson?

I'm trying to buy a grill from him but he wants money via western union. Just want to make sure I'm not getting scammed.

Is he from Nigeria? LOL. Any time they ask you for something like Western Union, I'd have to say I'd be worried.

I wouldn't use Western Union for anyone I didn't know
... in fact I really can't think of a reason to use Western Union at all (expensive)

Do the Pay Pal thing, the costs will probably be less anyways

Crap. Yeah, I asked him if he had a paypal account and his response was, "it's dormant". Then he continues to say, "I will still prefer to take payment via western union".

What does dormant mean?! Like he doesn't want to take the time to call paypal or update his info via internet...

I guess I'm going to have to settle for the SYMS grill instead of the STi GDB grill...

He's in England.

Do you think anyone would trade their STi v7 GDB WRB grill for an SYMS V2 grill? Thanks everyone! Much appreciated.

No deal. Scamola. I have never heard of "dormant" with a Paypal account. If you don't use it, it just sits there AFAIK, so I'd be very skeptical. The problem with WU is you have NO way of protecting against fraud, which is why scammers use it.

If he wants money first by WU then ask him to ship the part first then you will send the money.. Same thing he wants you to do lol. But ya pass on that for sure.
