Harness connector?

Does anyone know where to get a replacement connector for the harness?

I need a harness connector for the front O2 sensor (P/N 22641AA510) that seats on a bulkhead harness (chassis harness). The original connector got damaged. These connectors are probably made by Sumitomo or etc. but I couldn't locate the right replacement.

Yeah, I could just find a used 09 STI chassis harness and cut of a connector from it or just cut off a connector from the new O2 sensor and crimp/solder it directly to harness. I wonder if there are easier (cleaner) ways... Replacing the whole chassis harness just because of one 4-wire connector is definitely not an option.

UPD. Here is how the O2 sensor connector looks like: https://www.dropbox.com/s/rfnsnv9q6e25l2h/Connector.pdf

Why not just solder the connection if you cannot find one.

Did you try calling the dealer?

You can always replace both connectors to one from an auto parts store.

No, I doubt they replace connectors on harnesses. But they can sell me a new harness.

Yes, that's another way too.

There are couple of web sites that sells Sumitomo connectors:

Main

and

Ballenger Motorsports - High Performance Electronics

There are connectors that look very close but not a direct match. Maybe they will fit with some modification.

That would be nice, please do, but I'm almost sure that they are different. I think this particular connector is not even on all Subarus - only WRXs and STIs.

Checks Leo's thread about parting out that wagon. He might still have the wiring and what not.

Hey so I talked to my boss. He said the plugs on most cars should he similar and he suggested to go into a dealer not call since most of them won't know. But he's gotten a subaru pig tail before. If your o2 is out try the pigtails that oreillys might carry. You can also crimp connect spades too.

I used them all thru my 4runner, they work great, and will look "mostly oem" under the hood, Just cut the existing connectors off, match the pin out to pin in, and your done. Will take you all of 10 minutes tops.

The wires clip into the connector. There is no reason you should have to cut and solder unless the wires are messed up.

Yeah, they all look the same more or less but there are small differences in plastic housings that will prevent the connector from latching-in normally. But thanks for the advice and info! It will probably be either spades or direct connection for now...
