happy birthday to Ayapon!!!
Thank you everyone!!!
I celebrated my birthday in Tokyo at a restaurant called Xen. It was really nice and I even got a champagne toast from my friends who were with me. This has been one of the coolests birthdays for me I'd have to say. Definitely something I've never done before!
Now I'm in Hong Kong (arrived one day before Chinese New Year - good timing, right?
). I'm having a really great time being touristy and eating good food. There are so many sales going on right now that I'm almost (but not quite
) sick of shopping.
Yes, I'm a nerd, and I have to check my email and stuff every so often. This is one of those times (I'm at Hong Kong's main library with free internet access. It's huge here!).
More on my adventures when I get back this weekend. My grandfather's 90th birthday bash is tomorrow night, so that's going to be a real feast and exciting event. I think I'll be seeing about 50 of my relatives there!
A toast back to Andy and to everyone who posted here, even when not knowing if/when I'll see it!

See you when you get back! We'll have to set up a lunch meet so you can tell us all of the unedited stories about your trip!
