Hankook RS2's closeout on Tirerack

Don't Know if anyone else noticed, but Tirerack has Hankook RS2 on closeout.

I think I'm going to have to snag a set

How do these compare to the ADVAN Neova AD08/07 because if they are close I'm going save a lot of money! and you are my best friend now!

Jansen,I've used them as auto-x tires on my WRX and now on my Miata. I love them. Not sure how they are for dd.
Darn to have some space to store another race set !!!!

Hankook Ventus R-S2 245/45-17 XL Tire = $71

This is their extreme performance tire, is this their highest end summer time? (non R)

What does this tire compare to? I'm not familiar with hankook, but if it's good enough for the GST L, it's good enough for me!

I'm really curious to know what these compare to. How much do they normally cost?

Yup, until the RS-3 came out. That's why they're on clearance. Not as good as the Azenis RT's but good enough in my opinion. I'm a Hankook RS fan so I'm biased.
Just think my 295/60-14 for my Miata were $70+ regular.

If you want to win an autoX street category the RS2's fall a bit short on grip (the RS3, Neova AD09/08, Dunlop star spec, Azenis rt615 are all better). But if you want a kick-*** road tire for cheap this is a great deal.

The last time I ordered tirerack closeout tires they were 5 years old.

Check the manufacture date when you get it.
