Hands free car kit - any advice

Thinking abt getting a hands free car kit for my dd. Any advice? It's kind of a noisy car. Can get a $25 and have it work or do I need to spend $100 to get something that works well?

I'm considering as well... there are stereo head units that have the bluetooth stuff built in now and I'm looking at those.

My work car has Ford Sync installed and I'm hooked

The cheap units are no good, the people you are trying to talk to won't be able to hear you... I would reccomend a replecement head unit with BT built in... The only reason I know that the cheap units suck is cus I work at a stereo shop and a lot of my customer's start off with a cheap hands free and get very frustrated and then come and buy nice one

+1 on this deck.

You get an upgraded stereo deck and the bluetooth

Edit: WAIT JOSH look at his "drives".... Is this going to be for your Legacy? If so, what year hopefully its not a BP or else you're in the same boat as Josh and I.

Any of the new alpine units have a great sounding bluetooth I put one in my GF car and it sounds like she is sitting in a living room when she is talking to me while driving on the freeway

Great advice. It's for my daily driver (honda) and it's due for a new head unit anyway. The one it has now I can't change the clock which is pretty annoying.

Heedz i agree with you until this most recent year... Their songle din line up is great, their video and nav units are non-existent, and their 2012 amp line up and speakers are also very good, but everyone is entitled to theri own opinion

Yeah, I'm about to get a double DIN with HD radio, most likely this JVC:
JVC KW-HDR81BT CD receiver at Crutchfield.com . So cheap nowadays.
