I just beat the game. A little disappointed. Its really short, maybe about 6hrs or so. I had to wait 3 years for a 6hr game? Come on now! Anyways, I love the multiplayer, just a little bummed out about the game.

yeah...my friend beat it on thursday morning. he said the same thing. Now you start on Legendary!!!!

I heard that if you complete the game without changing anything on your settings (after 1st set-up) that you get an extra map or something like that....huh....

I like a long single player game, and I expect halflife to deliver. Sometimes you're just not in the mood to run around and frag other people. Plus I like counterstrike waaaay better than halo, so I get that with purchase as well. either way this holiday season has a lot of decent games available

Just curious. Did you watch through all the storymode and explore the maps, or did you rush through it?

Rushing through the game in easy mode would ruin the experience for anyone.

I beat it last Thursday after work and it seemed like about 10 hours. I was a little disappointed too. I think the 3rd will tie everything up nicely.

On the other hand, I've played GTA:SA for over 25 hours (according to the stats page) and I've just barely opened up Las Venturas (the third city). Even though they're completely different games, GTA is definitely my favorite game of the two.

Yeah, I watched all the movies. I didnt have it on easy mod either. I left it on normal. I will now start beating it on legendary.

With all the movies it was probably closer to 10 hrs. I was just talking about game play. I too have been playing GTA, and logged in so many hours! That game is just so much fun!

Beat it the first day too. Very dissappointed. I waited this long for a 1-day game? I play with legendary, and its no fun. Get shot twice and your dead? That will keep me glued to the game...... the online multiplayer is the only thing I play now. The rest can just sit there.

eh...

Got if for $20 from my friend at MS. Played if for about a half and hour and realized for the umpteenth time that I just don't like first person shooters. Give me SSX Tricky, or Rally Sport any day (or even Golf). Maybe I'm just getting old.

I know...I just finished yesterday and got the extra map. Also, you can go to "settings" and turn off radar.

Or are you talking about taking the whole radar off the screen?

I was a little disappointed that it ended so soon...right when it did...but I still cant wait for H3!!!

Im not finished with the game yet, but I have been exploring every inch of all the maps....so I have probably been playing for more than six hours. I'm playing it on Hero mode right now, and I think its a really fun game, its got a pretty cool story line as well....but after hearing all this about it being too short, I am afraid my game may almost be over. Anyone know if they really are gonna make H3?
