Half a Billion, Mega Millions
You gonna buy a ticket?
I will quote an official report/story in the morning when its published, but what I have read so far (and can't link because im on my phone) is projected next jackpot is 476 milliong, with an estimated $500+ million being a possible outcome due to turnout.
I have never bought more than a couple bucks worth, and I only by once in a while, but I might increase my odds from 1 and ??? Million and get some odds on my side for that kinda coin.
Anyone else

Watch there will end up being like 300 winners. i mean id still take it in a heart beat, but watch that happen. If only one person wins it... Lucky Mother F***er will be all I will have to say

Your chances of winning are so incredibly slim that you have a higher probability of getting struck by lightening 3 times in the same day than you do of winning. Good luck.

Chances of winning are even lower when you don't play
I've never played before, but a chance for nearly half a billion dollars off a few bucks spent?? I'll give it a shot.

LOL. We had a pool going here with a $5 buy in and with something like 10 people on the last one we won a total of $7 LMFAO! That was "reinvested" in this one.

same strategy me and my wife use.
course, like we're gonna care if we win $225M versus $150M?! no, but over $200M, things just get interesting.
well, that and I just feel like paying "the fool's tax" or the "bad math tax".
