That's Phil... PhilioWRXman. I think Zoeb has his number. Does anybody know anything else about what happened? I hope he's alright... and it sucks that he lost that car... I still miss it.

Yes, I'm okay. In a lot of pain, but ok.
A description of what happened, as well as pictures can be seen here:

The frame is mangled. It's going to be a part out.

Seems like all these drives need a reminder to not drive outside your skill, despite "pressure" to do otherwise. The loss rate on our drives is pretty high.
Glad everyone is ok.

Thanks everyone.
There was a message from Rich(bushido) in the drive thread about not driving beyond your limits -- I'll admit I was going faster than I should have been, but I was not trying to keep up. My RWD with not a lot of tread would have never kept up with ANYONE in our group in the wet.
I just wish I could say wait until the next dry drive =/
If anyone knows anyone needing parts for their Z, please let me know. The car is being parted out for sure.
a BIG ^ to Nissan for making that car as strong as it was.

don't worry man, once you start working full time after June, living at home with no expenses and you'll be able to afford a 30 thousand dollar car (hint hint) no sweat and it'll be all good!

well, for ur own protection and other's, get insurance. i've seen people that dont want to spend money on insurance and they ended up spending ALOT more. dont say u cant afford it when u have money to mod ur car, its YOUR responsiblity.
