Guy Loves his Subaru's
haha my neighbor was about to take a picture of me washing my car in the rain a few weeks ago...he was laughing at me
my reason was b/c i have to wash the wheels once a week to keep the brake dust from getting stuck on there! and it was two weeks worth of dust on the wheels...still, it's worth the upgraded pads every time I use my brakes hard.

With the new restriction of water use in my area, It's better for me to wash my car in the rain. I'll save money and the earth. If he actually had a bucket with a rag in it this photo would be even better!
we do that in so cal
after it rains, for the first time in a long time, we wash our cars because all of the oil and crap from the free ways get on our cars. rain is super rare here so our free ways get dirty
im not explaining this well i know

I washed my suby in the rain once. In my defense, it wasn't raining when I started, and my car was black, and black cars + rain = dirtier looking than pre-rain. I wasn't using a hose though...

i think its kind of a good idea. i always wanted to try it...
however i wouldnt be using the hose, the whole point of doing it in the rain is that you are not having to pay for the water
