Hey that's me Tony wuzup?!!!
Yeah that was an awesome run, second time sitting in an Sti and first time ride. I really can't believe you can go through the six speed gears so fast, unbelievable. Makes me want to trade in my wrx already but oh well life is good
Check out the EJ25 forums on one of these message boards, there is a specific information thread on the boost cuts on the 04 Sti. The jist is that a lot of the parts that could be changed on the 02-03 wrx and have no CEL or boost problems , now is programmed by Subaru to cut boost on 04 sti and i think wrx. Engine management should fix that. I read a member's post that said he put on an axleback muffler and the boost cut began to occur, so it's not just your car.

Good luck and keep in touch, tell me what happens! Oh and thanks again mad props to you and the beast you drive HAHA oh and what Mustang were you looking at? I couldn't figure out

alan the one on teh right on alamany. i waited for him to come by me and under 7 psi boost turnedall the way down i barly pulled on him. then i turned up to 15 psi was over before it began. Out the hole ate him up real bad on 15 psi. He had full exhaust, gears and some other stuff said ran mid 13s. my 1/8 mile time is good for 12.60s-12.70s at 8 psi ran 13.4 so thats why he was next to me at 7 psi run.

um yeah that's me but i didn't say i anything about my 1/4 mile times. I'm really not sure what my 0-60 or 1/4mile times are, i'll have to do some runs and check my turbo timer as it has a basic clocking feature.
oh i was wrong about the boost cut, it if fixed by porting the wastegate on the vf39 Sti turbo. which you said you had done so it shouldn't be having problems, i would guess your new turbo setup would fix the problem? good luck with it, tell me how it goes!
