Funny enough though, I didn't really feel upset, nor do I think any fan did when we consider the fact that we keep consistency, and overall performance at a title-winning level. Liverpool always comes into that game as if it's going to win them the League title (which it's not). It's like their cop-out for never winning the League. "Hey we beat United!!! WE ARE SOOOO CHAMPIONS GUYS! I mean...we won't actually win the title, but we managed to scrape by a winning goal in a single match against the actual champions so it must mean we're #1!" Liverpool's overall consistency has been **** for years now, and they just don't "show up" to enough matches imo, and only strap on their ***** when it's against United. Silly Liverpool, titles are for champions. One of my good buddies is a diehard Reds lifer, so we go back 'n forth a lot over the phone (since he's across the pond).

P.S. Comcast finally got Setanta earlier this month, which I immediately signed up for (at the lovely rate of $14.95/mo, /sarcasm), so I can now watch all my United games every season, which makes me happy. I almost switched to DirecTV last year JUST because I could get Setanta through them. Now I get FSC and Setanta, and with ESPN2 suddenly upping their coverage of EPL and UEFA Champions League, I'm in football heaven!
