Nevada Casinos are the place to turn your change into cash, I paid for my whole trip to jean last December with a pint of dimes

My guess is about $485 before fee $436.5 after fee.
It will be based upon the full amount without any fees deducted. Won't matter anyway, I'm getting an Amazon gift card with it = 100% of the value.

Did you know you can buy Swift springs on Amazon?

"500 dolla" never fails! Except for this time, because other people were closer.

That makes sense. I just recently turned in two quarts of mixed change for exactly $208.01 - did not know I could get me an Amazon gift certificate.

Where did you turn in the coins to get the Amazon gift card? Very interested as the change is piling up. TIA!

CoinStar. You get 100% of the value if you choose gift certificate instead of cash.

I got to my old credit union i still belong to, has coinstar dealio but takes 1% and I think once a month you can use it for no fee at all. Last time I was there this lady had roughly 300 in change all rolled up.......she didn't know they had the machine. I talked to her and she had made her 17 year old daughter roll up all the change! needlessly! it was pretty funny.

I have a smaller container prob half gallon that counts the money you put it in electronically keeps a tab. Good practice to keep.

Good to know. I've got a similarly sized jar at home and didn't want to fork over the percentage to the Coinstar machine but also didn't want to have to stuff rolls myself.
