the lovely people at stevens creek broke the bolster on the racing seat and dont talk like they're gonna get it fixed. anyone know anything? it's a procar by scott seat. i've never seen them at stores or anything... i dont even know if the company still exists. it MUST. the seat is only 2 years old... if that.
how much do you suppose something like that would cost to get fixed?it bends ver nw when you get in and out of the seat and prevents the door from closing completely unless you pull it back in. thanks.

that sucks dood, sorry to hear about those POSs breaking your seat.
It must be the dumb asses at stevens creek that are suby haters since they rob their customers, or break their ****.
Regardless of the situation, do not bring your car to stevens creek, cancel plans, break promises, do what ever it takes to NOT take your car their.
I would file a complaint with BBB and SOA, these fawk0rs need to roast.

yeah well the managers arguement (because yes, i raised hell and asked to speak to the head guy) is that he didnt break it and the mechanic didn't break it so it's not his fault becacuse no one told them they broke it. i'm assuming it was one of the billions of people who re-park the cars. anyway, this still doesn't answer my question. anyone know? don't half of you guys have race seats too??

it sucks because you can't prove that they broke your seats, because you don't have any real proof. you may or may not win in Small Claims Court in this case.
I have STi seats.
I've never even heard of Scott Seat, do you have a pic? Good luck.
edit: Are you sure it's not a Procar by SCAT seat? Them I've heard of.

You will probably never get them to admit fault in this incident. The only hope that you have is to threaten a lawsuit. But if they don't budge, it's not worth taking them to small claims. Court fees could cost you the same amount as replacing your seat and you might not even win. Good luck!
