Gruppe-S Replica STi Shifter Trim

does anyone have this?

I just got mine yesterday and it seems like its going to leave a 1/2 inch gap..or is there a trick to installing it?....what I saw is that it sticks up, but I am not sure how to install it...I might be looking at it wrong...but normall do u have to take the boot out to install the shift trim or does it just go over the boot?

It didn't come with instructions thats why I am confuesed..any help would be appreciated

Thanks,
Zoeb

i removed the boot first, then i had to trim the area a little bit and just sit it in, in may seem a bit ghetto, but it looks pretty good when its done

what did u trim? and as for the boot..do I need to cut the boot as well?...it seems like it won't fit if the boot is there..

did u get instructions with yours or did u just work with it?

it took me the entire day to put this thing on. i had to take off the boot shave around the console to fit the shift trim, glue the shift trim to the console and finish.
