im interested in the mobil 1... i can't remember where i read it but royal purple has some long term effects. Don't get me wrong ! i've used it before and thought it was the best. made my 100k mile car pur like a kitten

dunno if I'm sold on the fact that there is much of diff between M1 and some of the more "designer" priced oils like RP, Redline etc in an EJ20.
A lot of the data on bobistheoilguy have been showin stellar M1 oil analysiseseses.
Guess it would depend on how much of a "hookup" it was
