Regardless of that, it would be awesome to be able to control your 'glide path' and increase your 'hang time' without using a chute!

Can't help but think of BuzzLightyear. lol

 

^ for about 60k you can have your own 'flying wing'.
They use hobby turbines at about 50lbs of thrust each. You get like 12min of flight time and still need a chute, what I'm interested in is flying like a bird but landing like a plane, longer flight times.
