Besides them driving around and poking fun at each other, there was nothing in that episode. When TG got like that it got boring.

Watched Ep4. I liked it. I like that they are having fun with the Conversation Street silhouettes.

I think James' car was a little over the top. But otherwise a good segment.

It was fun. Commentary on the GTS by the American was goofy, but sometimes it is funny. "More horsepower than what? My tootbrush?"

I've become numb to Skinner. I know he will say a lame one-liner. I just wait for it to come and let it go. I was surprised when he didn't say anything in the first shot.

after watching the first episode, this thread makes me pessimistic about the rest.

I feel like that was more of a classic episode. It was kinda weird when Clarkson took the film crew and the whole scale thing. Did they not thing the scales through? It legitimately seemed like they cocked that up.

Not a bad episode in my eyes.

That's the drivel that I got tired of on Top Gear. OK, Battleship was fun, but the rest of it was useless.

Yeah - the predictable or obviously gonna-fail stuff. I'm having a difficult time making it through an episode. Have to try the latest and maybe go from there. On previous episodes, I caught myself on my laptop doing other things because it simply did not keep my attention. I remember asking myself several times "wtf - isn't this a car show?" and that is getting old. Maybe they are either in a rush or do not have the budget that they used to.

Can't handle the test driver. Just an overall obnoxious character. Never once thought one of the one-liners was even remotely funny. It's too forced, I guess. No biggy but definitely not enjoying this.

I liked the silent Stig better too. Forced is the issue - he's just commenting to comment and it isn't really working. If he had some USEFUL comments, it might better. I don't mind their stupid segments if there is some actual car stuff in there but when the segments are just straight comedy it is sort of what is the point of the show? It becomes more how can we work a car into our dumb skit than it being about the cars.

I think I'm ok with this subtle difference.

I think the 2 part special was not terrible.
