controller? Wheel all the way baby!
Anybody know whats the latest and greatest on wheels nowadays, or if there a new one coming out to coincide with either game's release? I used to be on top of this crap but not so much anymore

GT5 all the way. It's been my favorite race care game since the original came out. It's been a long time coming, but eventually it will be out and I feel it will be worth the wait.
I'd have to go with Forza as well. For one thing, we know it'll ACTUALLY F'ING COME OUT. How long have we been waiting for GT5? And that $40 demo (Prologue) doesn't count. In my opinion, GT5 is becoming a bit of a joke. We may as well call it Duke Nukem: Forever.
demos always look great no mattter whoo makes them.
gt5 looks cool, so does the forza, never played forza, dont have an XBox, but the roll overs who cares, if you want that get burn out revenge or one of those.
how will they play is all that mattters, the cool thing about gt5 is it looks like it will have more cars and types of racxing to choose from, nascar, i think that would be pretty cool if you can set those cars up for racing and fool with there settings, and the fia world rally, plus they also had the flags for indy racing in it. i think that would be cool to if they had indy racing league cars in it.
the thing is all forza looks like is it has a bunch of high end cars you could drive around, and "flip over" if u want, i really liked gt3 a spec it was fun wish it could b played on the ps3, i like it better then gt4 prolog, gt 4 sucks , you cant adjust the cars, lets face it, "who Here" likes to drive a stock car.

I played around with the Driving Force GT when a place had it on display with Prologue, felt alright. I didn't feel the need to upgrade from my old GT4 Driving Force Pro wheel for it though.
I gotta say that G25 is one pimp wheel though, the look for it is hot. Dare I say worth $300 bucks? Maybe, but I sure as hell won't be buying one

look you people don't understand how AWESOME the g25 wheel is, the feed back is quite impressive, compared to the one u have mike. Is it worth the 300 bucks? yes it is, the countless hours i have spent playing gt5 prolouge, and GTR Evo on the comp. totally worth it!
btw i didn't spend 300 on it i got a discount i paid 200 for it hahha

Have they gotten pedal feel down too or does it still feel like the floaty detached light pedal of old? I also still have the mindset that they need to make the pedals pivot from over instead of under, even if it means even more expensive.
I wish MS wasn't so stupid about their proprietary plug-ins on the 360. As much as I would love to buy a good wheel for the games, I find it hard to justify buying 2 expensive *** wheels for 2 seperate consoles. At least with the PS3 you can also use the same controller on a pc. I know you can for the 360 controllers to pc, but it isn't via supported drivers. Friggin MS.
