Ya I finally golded a bunch of races that have been plaguing me. The Grand Tour Lambo race and rally. Just golded License Test IC-10, the race in the Ferrari. Trick is to downshift late, and bump up the brake bias using the "RA" menu that I just found out about yesterday :banana: That is how I crushed the Loeb challenge in half an hour.

Last one is that damned Eiger race in the Alfa though

 

Yeah as close as I get to b-spec is when my buddy comes over and punches out a couple races. Saved up enough to finally get my 458, Gallardo, Murcielago and a few others. Also finally won the Veyron but have not had a chance to mess with it except to get a little irritated that there is no interior view on it or the Murcielago.. RAME. Also, this game needs a Justy.

I finally just beat this stupid historical race cote d'azure on b-spec. Searches on google said to use the Toyota 7, but finished it with the 2j. Keep getting him as mad as possible, until he approaches the chicane, when you tell him to cool off, then get him mad again until he hits the chicane the next lap... worked wonders for me after getting super pissed off trying so many times to beat it with the Toyota 7. Just won by 13.8 seconds with 2 other 2j's in the race.

 

OMFG if there is another car around you in the chicane on the down hill

it pisses me off like no other

Finally decided to beat the Like the Wind. Won easily with the formula GT, but man that thing gets loose easily.

Also beat the tuned car challenge, guess my JGTC NSX was a bit too much for that race, destroyed the comp.

 

Ya like I said above, the trick to winning with the Toyota 7 is to make sure the 2J starts BEHIND your Bob. Working with the rear toe settings will help Bob make that corner, as he can turn quicker and does not try to cut the corner.

Never realized how much I use my PS3 until I started a 24hour B-spec event. I think I'm gonna play some 16-bit Zelda as the PS3 does it's thing.
