I went and picked up my turbo today at atp. There where a few hayward cops parked at both ends of industral. So if your going in and out of GST They are staking the place out.

it all started last night. i was driving on 880 north in traffic, i was just about to pass dixon landing and all of a sudden a damn cop pulls me over.
he pulled me over for not having a front plate. then said "so i see that you have a exhaust, do u have any modifications? like a bov?" told me to pop my hood and pointed out that i have a adjustable bov, no cat and running a straight pipe, and having a intake. the guy writes me up and tells me i gotta go take my car to get state ref'd. booo
the cops name is D.Remero. if he ever pulls you over ask him how his boosted Si is doing.

BTW I love my aps tbe, it looks hella stock. Howd he know u were runnin a straight pipe, did he smell it? Yea when I got pulled over and the cop saw my bov I got a $530 ticket but no state ref. Either way lose lose situation!

wow. State ref sucks. I have my second apt next thursday.I failed the first time at evergreen(didnt think they would see my ceramic coated black uppipe yeah dump me
). I made my second apt at almameda....
When I was reffed I didnt have a front plate and the cop didnt say anything about it. after driving around a few days after that I decided to put it on and not take any chances.
popping the hood FTL. With as many as they been reffing lately,I think cops are getting more familiar with our cars.
