Also, if it wasn't for Ford, Rotary engines would be way more mainstream.
My old shop teacher told me about how Ford ran with the standard piston engine and is a big part of the reason as to why it's such a standard today... Before ford, the rotary was a very popular idea and could have gone mainstream because it had the potential to be way more efficient.
I dunno how accurate that is, but I remember him saying it.
I do know that the rotary engine is def a really great design that is capable of great efficiency and power, however it's not very popular and hasn't had the chance to be refined like the standard internal combustion engine. I remember some guy doing a really informative demo about the rotary and its capabilities, and what it would be like if it was adopted instead of the piston engine.
They still sound crappy though, nothing beats a nice turbo boxer.

i got a random package about 2 years ago also with some c6 corvette stock sway bars with endlinks and almost every single bushing on the car. first thing i did..was sign up on the corvette forums to post them up for sale. lol

Yeah I looked it up and it sells for 750.00 Funny thing is my boss drives a rx8, So I might sell it to him for a good price. I know it will be good for future days off request...

I had an 87 TII w/ a Racing Beat TB and it definitely rivals the boxer sound.
