I'm actually surprised Brembo allows these to be sold on ebay. Maybe they figure it's free marketing? The more they can get their name out there, the better?

That is less rice than painting the plain caliper red... or painting the rear drums red.

Fake Brembos are less ricey than painted stock calipers? I disagree. What's wrong with painting your stock calipers? At least you're not pretending to have something that you don't. There are lot's of cars out there that have high quality stock brake components. What's wrong with painting them?

I wouldn't do it, but I don't consider that rice.

You're right it isn't rice entirely, although it is commonly done by those ricers. I wouldn't do it either unless it served an actual function to my car. But painting brake drums red...uhhhhh haha
