Been working away on getting my 1962 Mini Cooper up and running and am finally there. Got some vids taken showing the ZCars kit and the car. By far the best engine swap for the Mini. 0-60 under 4secs flat with a stock honda K20, under 3 secs with a turbo'd hayabusa swap (Next on my list to do)

This thing is super quick and a whole lot of fun





Need to hit the track next and have some autocross fun..

I've been for a ride in this, and it's absolutely bonkers. I always loved Honda's motors at high-rpm, and this is no exception. This Mini is like a banshee above 6krpm considering it doesn't even really have an exhaust system to tone down the noise.

P.S. I recognize those roads.

Plan is to paint the fenders red, then I need to get some logo's on the car. I'm currently the distributor for these kits in the US so its my company car

Next step is to get some Autox and track days sorted.. Its just a blast to drive, it comes with a 6 speed gear box but I've blocked out 1st and 2nd cause they are just useless.. I can burn the tires out in 3rd, 4th and 5th if I want LOL. great thing is 60mph comes really quick..

I am getting over a similar kit that will have a Hayabusa setup instead of the K20 and that thing will be the track car. The hayabusa is just nuts on the track. Its a little lighter and just goes and goes!!

 

now i really need to come see this thing ASAP.
