Got my Front Bumper Painted, Thanks a 1,000,000 BALLZ!!!
Hey guys, check it out. I finally got my pitted bumper fixed and painted!
I got my front bumper/fog covers/splitters painted yesterday by Ballz down in Palo Alto. I must say I am VERY impressed with how everything turned out. I was fortunate enough to get to stay and watch the whole process from start to finish and was lucky enough to have such a great guy do the work.
Bryan (BALLZ) was a stickler for detail and even took an extra few hours out of his night to make sure that the work he did was amazing. He was also nice enough to seal up the 4 holes in the front bumper (2 drilled from the dealer for US Plates and the other 2 from Japan that come on the car) as well as the two rectangles that surround the holes. It looks great.
My bumper was also heavily pitted and had a nasty scratch on the top portion of the lower part of the bumper (in front of the radiator). He spent hours sanding, priming, wet-sanding, and prepping it to perfection.
Thanks to Jeff as well, he did an AWESOME job matching the Java Black Pearl... it couldn't match the car any better... I am truly impressed... And he also spent hours prepping and put the bumper back together.
Thanks to GIBZ as well for keeping me company throughout the day (and for that Pepsi )
So, enough with the talk. Pictures are worth a thousand words!
From the Start to Finish:
My Bumper that Needed Painting:
Bumper off:
Sanded and Starting to Fill the Holes:
Primered (The License Plate Area was Filled After This so That Bump is Fixed):
After Wet-Sanding:
Getting Ready for Paint After Being Cleaned and Paint Sealer Applied:
Paint Match Check:
In the Booth, Getting JBP:
Painted Parts (Notice the License Plate Area is all Fixed...and that Black Plastic is Getting Sprayed Next Sunday with a Nice Flat Black):
Bumper Going Back On, Fogs and Grille had to Wait Until Sunday:
As is Sits Less Than 24 Hours Later:
And Some Pics of BALLZ and GIBZ's cars:
*and he's not a vendor, he did this as a hobby on weekends. So this IS NOT a vender review It is a thanks for a job well done by a friend and me showing the BAIC my new paint job.

wow looks damn good steven! I may need to get in touch with Ballz. I've seen him mention about painting before but didn't know the quality, but now I know! Just gotta find a new front bumper now....maybe some rear spats for my rear bumper or do my side skirts!
