I was driving around Fremont and I saw this huge camera on top of a car and it turned out to be a 08+ Subaru Impreza 2.5i hatch. Didn't have enough time to take a pic though.

Has anyone else seen the google maps subie around?

 

Yeah ive seen that as well as a prius. I think someone posted a pic of it a couple months ago

 

Several posts refer to what we call the "Google Imprezas" in the Bay Area sighting thread.

 

They have ~100 of them. I've seen the fleet parked off shoreline in Mountain View

 

I seen a few of these as well. I got a video of one passing me on the freeway.

Yea theres several of them around, this one was at SC Subaru getting some work done.

 

It would be nice if one of the drivers for those 2.5s was an i-clubber and would do a full STi drive train swap.
