Have you tried Firefox?
Again, Firefox. There are nifty extensions such as FireBug which allow you to debug (watches, breakpoints, etc) JavaScript from within the browser, and Web Developer which lets you futz with things in place (basically too many awesome features to list here). Also, there are a few addons that allow you to open pages within Firefox that use the IE rendering engine. This way you can see your page in a W3C-compliant browser, and one that's not (margin<->padding, grrrr).

I like it, my only complaint is that since it uses a memory architecture that is a little bloated (uses a different CPU process for each tab) so you'll have quite a bit of memory used up if you're and avid surfer/designer.
But these days, what browser doesn't soak up a lot of memory?
ATM I am using FF at home and GC at work..trying to see the pros/cons of each but I like GC so far.
However the biggest plus is the Java structure they have for Chrome - extremely efficient.

So lets take a look...
Google Search Engine > All
Gmail > Hotmail
Chrome > IE
Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm waiting for the Google OS >=]

Correction: I can't wait for the REAL Google OS. I've seen people do crazy stupid things with ubuntu...but still lacks support for most things.
I'm still running XP....can't justify a $180 upgrade for a Legacy system that basically works fine...one day maybe.
And Chrome is open source yes? Can't wait to see what some Linux gurus will be cooking up with it...hopefully that benefits Chrome as much as it has FF.

7.04 release solved a majority of my hardware problems - prior to that I was having issues with RAID set ups and a few networking protocols.
I will eventually build a test computer and run Ubuntu off of it to tinker with this and that and get full compatibility with my peripherals but until then, XP will suffice.
Nice to see another Linux user around here, I'll overlook you being a Dodger fan, however.

^^I run some advanced networking on my Ubuntu setup, from networked printers to server stuff.
I will say I am not happy with Ubuntu as a server OS but as a client OS it works great. I have not had any hardware issues with Ubuntu since Feisty Fawn.
Now running Hardy Heron I am 100% satisfied.
Once I get my MacBook in the mail I will dual boot OS X and Ubuntu 8.04 and my life will be complete.
