Me, too. One of the best motorsport gatherings on the planet.

If you can't make it there at least you can go to The Historics (or whatever they call it these days) in Monterey. Not quite the same thing, but still pretty cool.

I do not. It used to be called Monterey Historics but they renamed it and it is now called Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. This year they are highlighting the Jag E-type as it is the 50th anniversary of that car.

Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion - Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca

If you've never been it is well worth it as they have all sorts of racing cars past and present.

That, along with Concorso Italiano (though quite expensive at $120+) are two MUSTS for any car enthusiast. It helps that they're only 5-10 minutes away from each other. Last year at the Concorso Italiano they held an F40 reunion and there were at least 15 F40s in attendance. Absolutely unbelievable!

I've never been due to the high cost of tickets and the fact that the cars are static. I just can't bring myself to pay that much to see cars that aren't on the track.

I was there the year that Ferrari was the theme at the historics and happened to be sitting at the Corkscrew when a very old, very expensive Ferrari went into the tires. Unreal.

It's the same weekend. The car show is cool but I rather spend my time at the track.

This weekend is like that video. The thing is all these amazing vintages come in, but they are owned by rich people who can only get around in their new ferrari/lambo.

Point being, the historics bring in vintages...........but they also bring in the most super cars of any other time of year. If you want to see a car show of new stuff, make sure you have time to walk the parking lots at Laguna on Historics race day

Yeah, the ticket prices are nuts, but the cars are as well. For me, seeing 15 F40s at one time was practically priceless as I'd never even seen ONE let alone 15 and have been drooling over them since I was knee high to a grasshopper. That and I finagled my dad into popping for the tickets

If you have the means, I highly recommend it.
