Good skate store in SF?

I'm looking to buy a skateboard (complete) and I'm going to be coming back to SF this weekend.

Can anyone recommend me some skate shops? I know about Skates on Haight already and I'm planning to go there first. Just looking for a good store with friendly employees who are willing to help with a newbie.

I got mines built at copeland in SF. Complete board for like $200?. Think deck with tensor trucks, lucky bearings, pig nuts and bolts and spitefire wheels.

That or FTC.

Haha if you want a used board I might be selling mines :P haha trying to save up for a long board .

$200?!?!!!! $100 is the AVG price for a quality setup, i dont think its possible to reach $150 haha

FTC in Haight has a lot of decks, and theres DLX on market like 12th 13th 101 street area.

If your at all interested in longboards or old school riding, go to Purple Skunk on Geary and 23rd-24thish area...they have 30+ setups that they let you test ride! its soooo cool.

those are the only ones i know

Thanks all for the suggestions.

I've heard of FTC a while back. The main question is, are their employees friendly? I don't want some guy with a bad attitude giving me suggestions or anything.
