Thats all I've really used since I got tuned. NGK 1 step colder copper plugs, BKR7E iirc... only like 7 or 8 bucks from NAPA. I know the coppers need to be replaced more frequently but I don't really mind replacing my plugs since I've done it so many times it just keeps getting easier and easier.

Honestly, we've been using them for years...never had a single issue from our experience(s).

Have you ever see and spark plug with a redish/rusty color streaking up the porcline from the base? That is the blow thru.
You might be able to google up some info on it.
I'm tired and still in class teaching so I'll try and dig more up when I get a chance.

I change spark plugs daily and have easily changed hundreds (many hundreds to be exact)...but that doesn't make me an authority on it, just my experience working on cars daily.

We stock both the Denso Iridiums and the NGK's, we also stock the NGK coppers.
If you don't mind changing your plugs more frequently the coppers perform a little better than the Iridiums although perhaps not enough performance margin to warrant the frequent changes (depends on your application and willingness to do the work or pay for it I guess).
I have never heard of any issues with the NGK's nor seen any first hand, nor for that matter the Denso's.
Bosch makes a b1tchin motorsports plug but I am not sure if it's available for a Subaru, it's the same plug used on the Porsche MR6 motor (ALMS and Le Mans Series).

I'm not sure If It's my Tune ( Sorry Mike ) or If It really Is my NGK 1 Step Colder plugs but I always seem to be having an Idle issue, It will some times hunt for Its normal Idle which always goes away If I just blip the throttle a little. I have heard of alot of these cases going away after switching to a different plug, But I have yet to change them so I can't be sure of It yet.

It's possible it's the plugs or if relatively new perhaps the gaping of the plugs.

I'm going to pull the plugs this weekend and check the gaps and see how they look color wise. The only time I will be over near you guys will be the next 2 Thursdays In a row the 16th and 23rd, I'll be at Cal Hydronics at 5pm so If I get off early enough Maybe I can stop by on the 16th before I go to class. And If need be I can leave the car with you and just walk back over when I'm on break, It's only a block away
I'll let you know what I find over the weekend.
