Good place to patch a tire in the South Bay?

I picked up a nail today.

I'll be calling Auto Innovations tomorrow. But I'm not sure if they do tire repair.

I have one other shop in mind and I don't really want to go to Big O.

What have you guys experienced.

no BS, these cheap kits are a proper fix if you do them right, this is all we used at the track when our cars picked up a screw and we've never had a prob. a tire-off patch will just cost you more to do the same job.

WHAAAATT!!! Americas tire does free flat repair? When you say free do they just plug your tire for you for free or they do the patch and plug for free?

The Americas Tire on Stevens Creek and Woodhams has patched 3 of my tires for free on 2 different vehicles and I did not buy those tires from them. Really good stuff!

And the last time I brought my balding tire in to get patched they said that they would rather give me a free used tire than risk having the plug come back out. Even though I just showed up there. I've always had great service over there whether I'm buying tires or just getting a patch.

I just got my tire patched by Americas Tire on Brokaw on Monday. Didn't cost me a dime (factory wheels and tires, not purchased from them).

That's exactly what gets used to plug a tire...or similar products but that's all it is...really easy too...

Helps to have an air line though to keep the tire firm

Don't plug speed rated tires... it causes to to delaminate

Bruces Tire will do an actual patch and do it right.

+1 for America's Tire. They treated me well and did it correctly (vulcanized). My friend has a tire shop and he said he does not like to do repairs for customers and sends them to other places like America's Tire, but he uses a similar plug tool like the one shown for himself when he needs it, though he said that is not a long term fix.
