Good place to get a haircut in or around Santa Clara

Hey, so ive been in the bay like 4 years now and have so far avoided getting my haircut up here. Ive always either went home to get it done or had a drunk girl friend do somethin ridiculous with a buzzer... I think its about time to find someone whos competent to cut my hair, and i dont like the retards that mostly fill up the supercuts and little places that i see around. I dont need a fancy haircut, and im not lookin to spend a lot of money, i just want someone whos competent and can do a good job, simple. anywhere in the san jose area will do, if its worth it ill drive 15 or so minutes to find a good place. just let me know where to go. thanks!

maybe its just me, but i find putting so much thought into a haircut inconcievable haha...you got long hair or somethin? or just really meticulous about your hair?

i dont have long hair, and thats the thing: when you cut hair short, theres less margin for error and when i go to an idiot to cut my hair, i end up looking like one too. im not tryin to put too much thought into it, but most would agree there are good places and ****ty places. i just want to find a good place. nothin fancy, but if they can understand what i want done, then thats all i need.

I really don't know where but from what I hear there's some shady Vietnamese places in San Jose that offer a little more than a haircut. I don't think you need to spend an arm and a leg but I wouldn't expect a great haircut.

It's been a LONG time, but if you are willing to truck out to San Jose State, Rock&Roll barber is an old school barber shop... if he is still there.

i go home to hayward to get my hair cut a lot of times. But if i can get the time to make the trip. There's a place on brokaw across the street from the ranch 99 plaza that cuts for 13. They are pretty good.
