He did give up 1 run tho, trying too hard to strike people out and messed up.

 

hahah I'm not much of a Giants fan, or baseball for that matter but we got free bleacher tickets for last nights game (saturday). Seriously, we watched the game for about a total of 5 minutes.

To start off the night, some Dodger fan hurled everywhere so all the Giants guys were ****ing with him. Then a guy in the same area wanted to jump onto the field, and when he didn't the whole section started booing. Then off in the corner a group of Dodgers fans with a string hat started chanting, so all the Giants fans chanted back.

About in the 7th inning is when all the "real drama" started. Over in the section to the right of us, some bigger guy tried to fight to old asian guys. One he pushed down the stairs. The other older asian guy chased after him so this guy threw two punches, asian guy fell. Got back up and ran after to the dude so he threw another punch and then ran away. Everyone chased after him and I guess the uniforms caught him.

From then on about every 3 minutes the whole section would stand up to watch verbal fights or the uniforms escorting people out. Some hippy ***** started yelling at some drunk guy, so all of us started yelling at this hippie *****.

Basically drama > game. Oh, and I thought the Dodgers won 2-1?

 

+1 and effing torre too **** this is the first time in 14 years i can't root for the yanks in the playoffs where is george steinberner at? hank isnt doing crap

And again... we didn't play our starting line up. Why risk our best players getting injured for a game against a team that came in 4th out of 5 in the regular season?

Beating the Giants is not important enough to risk injuring a starting player.
We could have lost all three, I would not have been upset because I understand those games meant nothing.

We could get swept by the Cubs, and guess what? Its still further than the Giants made it. Not to mention whens the last time the Giants made the playoffs? 2003

Not to mention Hank Stenbrenner is now whining like a little girl about how its unfair that the Yankees finished with a better record and didnt make the playoffs. I guess he doesnt remember 1998 when the Yanks only won 87 games.
